About Marina

Marina Massidda (Cambridge, MA 1995) is a figurative painter based in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. She graduated from Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH, ’17) with a major in Studio Art and holds a Master’s in Cinema & Media Studies from the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA, ’23). She also holds a Master’s in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country (Leioa, Bizkaia, ’24) and is continuing to develop her artistic practice in a Basque context. As an artist-scholar, with a background in both the plastic arts and screen cultures, she has participated in several academic conferences and has exhibited internationally. Her first solo exhibition will take place in Torre de Ariz, Basauri, Spain.
